Stainless steel pools are becoming more and more popular for their durability, quick installation, easy maintenance and above all for simple and modern control of all processes associated with their cleaning and operation.
Whether public swimming pools in water parks, schools, sports and rehabilitation facilities, hotels and spas, or family swimming pools, whirlpools, children’s and baby pools, paddling pools, cooling pools, etc., it is always necessary to carefully monitor and maintain water quality and technology of its modification.

Construction procedure

Based on long-term experience with the construction of stainless steel swimming pools, the construction process of the installation of stainless steel swimming pools has been developed, which is the same for the construction of new swimming pools and swimming pools as well as for the reconstruction of the original concrete tanks and swimming pools. This technological procedure guarantees fast and above all precise assembly of stainless steel bodies.
Installation of stainless steel swimming pools can be divided into three parts
The sidewalls of the pool in lengths of 3-5 meters, including the overflow trough, are mounted on a pre-prepared foundation slab or foundation strips. After settling, these walls are leveled and anchored to the foundation strip.

After the installation of the sidewalls, backfill and leveling of the subsoil under the pool bottom takes place with a sand-gravel compacted backfill on which smooth or non-slip (embossed) stainless steel sheets intended for the pool bottom are laid. All piping systems are already included in the backfill, including bottom flow nozzles with adjustable flow.

Finally, the side walls are filled with sand and then with soil. Ambient adjustments are made, with the entire pool being passivated and being prepared for commissioning. In this way, any swimming pool, swimming pool or reconstruction of the original concrete pools can be built in a very short time and without complicated construction work. The great advantage of stainless steel pools is especially the possibility of additional addition of any accessories and thus increase the attractiveness of these pools.

Description of construction

The side walls are mostly made of smooth one-sided brushed metal, where the upper part forms the so-called overflow edge of the pool, over which the water is poured into a trough covered with the gridiron. The overflow edge also serves as a catching edge. This system ensures noiseless drainage of water into the overflow trough

The overflow troughs are made to ensure 100% drainage of the pool water and are covered with grids made of polypropylene, resp. stainless steel.

Water circulation in the pool is ensured by a system of adjustable bottom nozzles, which are also made of stainless steel, which ensure 100% water exchange throughout the pool area without any dead spots.

The pool bottom is made of stainless steel sheet with a non-slip tread at a depth of less than 900 mm, and a smooth surface at a greater depth.

All entrances to the pool (stairs) and railings are also made of stainless steel with a tread pattern.

Accessories – eg starting blocks, handles, benches, gargoyles,…, are in most cases a fixed part of the pool.

In comparison to other available materials for the construction of swimming pools, stainless steel materials are almost comparable in price today and exhibit many times longer lifetime and quality.

Water attraction
